support for bluetooth midi keyboard?
I have a Korg MicroKey Air keyboard which is recognized by Windows 10. Is it possible to add this to the list of available control services for Mixcraft 8?
Re: support for bluetooth midi keyboard?
Click on the little gear icon on the top of MX8 to open preferences and scroll down to Control Sufaces and see if it’s reconizened.

No it’s not
Re: support for bluetooth midi keyboard?
Make sure the bluetooth is turned on and then click on the "Add New" and see if you can add it.

Also click on Help on the top of MX8, then click on Help File to open the manual and checkout page 335 for more information.

Re: support for bluetooth midi keyboard?
bluetooth is turned on in Windows 10, keyboard is recognized by Windows 10. "Add new" under Control Surfaces does not list Microkey as an option.
There seems to be no way to add this keyboard to Mixcraft.

Re: support for bluetooth midi keyboard?
Click on 'mix' then midi control surfaces and see if you can map it there.

I can’t see any way to map a new device. The drop down list for control surfaces is static and can’t be updated
Re: support for bluetooth midi keyboard?
What happens when you start MX8 with the Korg controller turned off and then turn the Korg controller on... Does MX8 show that it has detected a new device?

Hi,
You've got a virtual instrument track armed with a virtual instrument, like a piano or synth? If you click record and try to record something, does the clip persist, or does it disappear?
Mixcraft doesn't have to worry about bluetooth, it should just pick up MIDI from any MIDI controller as a proper Windows MIDI device if it's set up properly. Have you gone to the web page to download and install the latest drivers for it?
Is it working with any other programs?
You could install MIDI Ox to see if MIDI data is making it into your computer.

Works with other programs on my iPad but not PCIs it working with any other programs?
I have the same Korg Microkey midi controller which is USB rather than bluetooth connected. Mixcraft immediately recognizes this one.
