Symphonic Choirs pitch issues when more than one

Post by milesh »

Using Mixcraft 8 Pro (64 bit) on windows 10 - Solid State Drive

I am having issues with EastWest Symphonic Choirs. Admittedly am new to using this sample set but ...
If I load any more than one voice (wordbuilder voices) into Mixcraft pitch issues and more appear.

one voice loaded - in pitch all good (alto)
two voice loaded - pitch goes crazy - no words etc

Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks

Symphonoic Choirs is very resource heavy. It sounds like you are running your entire system off one SSD? If so that could be the problem there. Your drive has to handle OS, Mixcraft, plus streaming and the samples. If you have the space in RAM you could try unchecking 'stream from disk' in the Play menu as a short term solution. Best solution is to add at least another drive dedicated to samples. Poke around the EWQL site and check out the specs of their test computer.
