BUG: Messed up the automation line after undo/redo

Post by sixstorm1 »

Undoing the edition of an automation point past a tempo marker messes up the automation line (Mixcraft 8.1 Build 418)

STEPS:
1. Create a project with default settings (95 BPM)
2. Insert a clip
3. Set the clip to use project tempo
4. Add a tempo marker WITHIN the clip and change the tempo to a higher BPM
5. Insert time before the clip a few times (using the "Insert Time" function). This step is REQUIRED.
6. Create a few automation points AFTER the tempo marker
7. Move around a few automation points created at step 6.
8. Undo
9. The automation line gets messed up. The end of the automation line doesn't even match the clip length anymore.

WORKAROUND:
1. Restart Mixcraft.

Hi,

When you say "default settings," is your project tempo 95 or 120?

It's 95 but doesn't matter as long as the tempo marker has a different BPM. I've updated the steps with some details.

Hi,

I was asking, because the default tempo is 120, but you'd mentioned 95 in another post.

I got it to happen! Thanks for reporting this. I've filed a bug report.
