Hi, I am trying to render a new AVI on mixcraft 8 pro but am getting the Blue Screen with error:
Page fault in non paged area
What failed: nvlddmkm.sys
It renders the audio and before the video even hits 1% it crashes

Re: Blue Screen trying to render video
I'm not sure about the error code, but Mixcraft has problems if you include video clips that are of a different type from the filetype that you try to render the video to. Check your source material's filetype then render to the same filetype

Ok, thank you for the insight Ian. Yes, I have noticed mixcraft is picky about the videos you put into it. If this is the case this time, will have been the second type of issue like this I've encountered recently.
I will see if I can change them all to one type

Re: Blue Screen trying to render video
I checked my clips and they are all mp4. I attempted to render an mp4 from mixcraft and it crashed again almost instantly.
Is mixcraft picky about still images? I have some png and jpg that I have laced between video clips

Re: Blue Screen trying to render video
Some of this may rely on the specific codecs installed on your computer.
That tip coming from someone who doesnt use Mixcraft for video. Or simply doesnt do much video.

Re: Blue Screen trying to render video
Thank you Mark Bliss. Mixcraft reffered me to a codek package but other than installing it I know nothing about codecs.
And when I asked for help in their forum they seemed confused as to why I was there and shortly after that I un installed the package

Hi,
Blue screen crashes are caused by drivers. In this case, nvlddmkm.sys is an nVidia graphics card driver. Check and see if there are any updated drivers for your graphics card.

Re: Blue Screen trying to render video
My Nvidia drivers need updating almost every time a new PC game comes out, which is pretty often.
