Default drum map

Hello

I created custom drum maps for 3 party vst . The maps names are visible , but are not auto-loaded in the piano roll.

Edited the Default-Drum-Mapping.csv file using Notepad++, not Excel.

The format to follow: Map File,VST GUID,VST Name,Preset #,Comments

Ex: retrominev01.txt,{72743031-0000-0000-0000-000000000000},retrominev01,retrominev01

Just wandering if not using Excel is the problem and are your custom maps getting auto-loaded in the piano roll?

:) /

Hi,

Excel is not required. Maybe just need to change the three letter file extension to .txt and then restart Mixcraft?

Hi,

Submit an Acoustica Support Request and send us one, or post it here so we can check it out.

Edited to add: you have the files in this folder, right?

C:\ProgramData\Acoustica\Mixcraft\drum-maps7

Hi,

A file that's not showing up in the drum map list, even though it's named properly and it's in the correct folder.

Does not having a preset number matter?

The preset number chooses the preset in the virtual instrument that you want to use for this drum map.

For example, Vox Percussion is preset #62 in the CSV file, because if you look at the presets for Acoustica Expanded Instruments, Vox Percussion is preset #62.

Hi,

Then maybe the answer lies in the Default-Drum-Mapping.csv file. Do you have everything in order in that file?

Hi,

You should edit the file with Google Sheets or something, and that way the formatting won't get messed up.
