Input locked?

I've got a project that has some anomalies. One is most or a lot of the tracks have multiple identical sounds layered. I can fix that..The real problem right now is, I can't get my input from Mic to output my vocal recording program..in this case POD farm2. I opened a new project and all works as advertised! It must be something in that particular project.

Never mind... I found the problem. For some reason, on this project, I now have to manually select "monitor incoming audio" in the track drop-down menu. Instead of just using the button on the track controls. Then I can monitor the effected sounds of (in this case) POD farm. Also noted after selecting that option in recording options, the monitor button stars to operate as normal.
