Noob question: clearing remembered effects?

Post by UilleannB »

I remember I asked this before, but I don't find it anymore.
When editing a track, it sometimes happens that the track "remembers" the effect of an instrument, triggered by a keyswitch, and when you play the track again, it starts with this effect, although there is no actual keyswitch event triggered yet.
I remember there was a way to "clean" the track, but I don't reemember how I did it or how it was called to look it up in the manual. Any ideas?

The best thing to do when this happens is to create a redundant keyswitch trigger at the beginning of your project or clip, to keep playback consistent. This also helps avoid mixdown issues, as your instrument may remember the wrong keyswitch during mixdown
