Launchpad/mini MK3 support?

Hi,

recently I tested the new Launchpad and think about getting one, because the pads feel much better than the old ones. I´d like to know if this device is supported in Mixcraft 9 or if it´s possbilbe to create a template for the performance panel. This would make the decision to buy it much easier.

My school recently upgraded to Mixcraft 8 and purchased the Novation Launchpad Mini MK3s. We are having difficulties getting the pads to serve as a trigger for the performance panel. We had no problem with the original launchpad mini working with Mixcraft 7 but now that we upgraded we are really struggling to get it to function the same way. Hi,

If you go into Mixcraft's Control Surface preferences, did you try the Launchkey Mini option? Check to make sure that you have the Input and Outputs set correctly.

It's not giving me any reliable means to match the layout of my sets and tracks in the performance panel that mirror exactly on the launchpad itself. This is truly frustrating. I've tried every type of control surface that is listed - Launchkey Mini, Launchkey MK2, Launchpad, Launchpad MK2/Pro, Launchpad Mode 2, and nothing is working like it should. I've tried both Input and Output options, LPMiniMK3 MIDI and MIDIIN2 (LPMiniMK3 MIDI).

On the Launchpad Type with MIDIIN2 and MIDIOUT2 selected, the launchpad itself allows me to trigger what I have in the performance panel, but the layout is totally off. The image attached shows the bottom left button (track 8 set 1) corresponding to a loop in Mixcraft on Track 3 Set 5. Doesn't make any sense at all. If I click the User button on top or toggle over to Keys, Drums, or back to User, all of the triggers disappear from the pad.

No, I just don't understand why there isn't an option created for the launchpad mini mk3. It was so easy to plug and go with mixcraft 7 and the original launchpad mini and now its over complicated. I need to be able to replicate this process for 15 workstations.

Have you had any luck with this? I got the Launchpad X and have the same deal. I am about to return the peripheral back to the store because Acoustica's guidance on this is very outdated.

No, and I've been incredibly frustrated that Mixcraft hasn't offered any solutions to this.

I've been passing comments along to the software developers. Hopefully they'll come up with something for Mixcraft 10. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you!

In the meantime, you could probably put it in MIDI mode and use MIDI Learn to map the controls.

Any update on this? Previous versions have listed the launchpad as compatible so I've bought one for mixcraft 9 and its just useless at the moment. Too late for me to send back.

i have created Button controller scripts for LaunchPad Mini MK3 and LaunchPad X.
place this unzipped ini files into your C:\ProgramData\Acoustica\Mixcraft\ButtonControllers folder and in Mixcraft controller setup select LauchPad Mini MK3 or LaunchPad X and set standard LauchPad input and output.

Session layout is the same as in Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio.
first session start is first button on top right
