If I were looking at a first time DAW this would not make the cut. So far no 3rd party (Groove3, MPV) has bothered to touch this DAW.
Often I've had to search to do things and it on youtube and not the best video production.
An outsider would think the developers didn't do much between v7 to 9.
Many developers also give more attention to midi videos.
You should really create new videos. It's great for marketing.

Hi,
Yes, we're planning on creating new videos in the coming weeks and months.
We're a small team, and we've been busy creating the new software and a new web page.

Re: Has Mixcraft considered updating their videos?
While it would be nice to see more tutorial content both specifically on using Mixcraft and general production using Mixcraft, keep in mind that the vast majority of the old video content is still applicable due to the heavy backwards compatibility and intuitive design of the the program.
Making good quality videos is very time consuming and therefore not an inexpensive endeavor. I am not familiar with MPV, but I am a Groove3 subscriber, and would point out there is a vast difference between the good video tutorial production (a small portion are great imo) and the rest/majority of them which are often.... Meh.
Its not easy. I wish I had the time to try and produce a series.

I am not sure..... Is this intended as a positive point? Many developers also give more attention to midi videos.

Hey I look at it this way, the more videos the users make themselves the better the chances of 'feature creep' become!

Yeah, thats actually a good point!
More time left to get the quirks and bugs sorted.
The dev team has done a fantastic amount of work here imo. And it keeps on growing. The to-do list is pretty long.
