Installation of MC9 and Deinstallation of MC8

Total noob question (can be deleted later), but since I got MC9 I deleted MC8. The deinstallation routine said no other program would have registered certain libraries and parts of MC8 (but it could be that other programs would use them). I clicked "remove all", but now I am not certain if MC9 maybe uses the same stuff and I should have kept them? Should I reinstall it and then keep the relicts?

I dont think its necessary.
Upon uninstalling, I select remove all, assuming any files needed will be reinstalled with the new version.
I may be wrong, but on the other hand, havent noticed any issues with missing stuff either.

FWIW: I have both Mixcraft 8 Pro and 9 Pro installed and kept everything.
