I don't have a 'screen-record' program installed, and screenshots don't capture mouse carets (apparently), so I filmed a little demo with my phone.

During playback, if you 'grab' a lane and jiggle your mouse, you will introduce a little time distortion effect. Sounds pretty cool on harmonica :lol:

I captured the effect in real time using MeldaProductions' MRecorder https://www.meldaproduction.com/MRecorder then synced that track up with the original. Mute the original and - Voila! - a nice little 'wah' effect. I imagine if I played with the mouse settings I could fine tune the control a bit.

A little complicated, but sounds better than using a mod wheel. Please note this is just a rough demo, but you can get some nice sounds this way.
