Voxengo Boogex not working

I just installed Mixcraft 9 the other day, everything seems to be working great, except when I select the Voxengo Boogex in the fx menu, the interface comes up, but I get no output. Clicking the bypass button or using the on/off button does allow sound. Every other plugin I have tried works fine.

This is on a audio track (guitar).

Did I miss something in the instructions?

Hi,

Are you using Mixcraft 9.0 build 442? If not, try updating. Click on the File menu, select Check For Updates, then quit Mixcraft as the patch downloads in order to install it.

Well, it now works on one guitar track, but not another. Same problem. It is the current build. Said there were no updates available.

It's working for me with build 442. Please submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach a project file that illustrates the problem.

I think I figured it out. Boogex was not working on tracks that I was also not using the Shred amp simulator as an effect. Once I add The Shred, the voxengo comes up fine. That's probably in the guide somewhere

Hi,

You don't need to have Shred on a track to use Boogex. Maybe you just need to try some different presets in Boogex?
