Hi,

Congrats for Mixcraft 9. I like it how it keeps things simpler and more straightforward than other DAWs, and that any extra feature added can brake that simplicity, but still for the electronica crowd, I see automation tools important:
1. Either inform in the vsti instrument parameter list by higlighting in red or *, what were the parameters tweaked since the project was open, or just directly allow automation recording from the VST interface, or both of the above.
2. Save the automation clip as distinct items so they can be moved around or copy/pasted like midi clips.

Are these feasible, or may be prioritized in v 9.x?

Hi,

1. Arm the automation lane to Record All, then tweak the VST controls as you record.

2. You can copy and paste automation.

Thanks Greg, works as described. For point 2,
I do: select automation lane segment with mouse click drag and then ctr+c. There is another way to do that? I can't select full lane at once. Probably because the automation lane does nor seem to inherit the limits of the midi item.

Anyway, it works.
