Hi,
Trying the app/computer under some stress(with resource intensive VSTs), i noticed audio crakles when hovering mose over external VSTs or even native windows of Mixcraft interface, while the CPU usage seems still confortably under 15-20%.(both system and app)
It the CPU usage not relevant and I should increase buffers?
Thanks
Andy

Hmm, if your mouse is wireless maybe you need new batteries, or the USB plug is lose, or the cable is bad, or you have a faulty mouse?

No, I actually use the laptop pad
The touchpad should not eat so many resources to cause this? It is a decent HP i7-8650u, 16gbRAM, with an an external RME Babyface Pro interface.
And as i noticed, Mixcraft lacks a bit in translating mouse behavior to laptop touchpad gestures. Bu this is possibly a different issue.
Thanks

Maybe check the mouse/pad settings on your computer?

Hi,
Are you in ASIO mode? if not, try that. Also make sure you've got the latest driver for your Babyface Pro: https://www.rme-usa.com/babyface-pro.html
This could be a video driver issue, so make sure your video drivers are also up to date.
This is a laptop, correct? Make sure you're not in power-saving mode. If you're running on battery, plug the laptop in, but beyond that, make sure you're not in battery-saving mode anyway.

Hi Greg,
Thanks for the followup, yes it's an HP Elitebook Laptop.
Of course, except updating the Intel UHD 620 Graphics card driver, all your points were already checked, RMEs ASIO driver was active and updated. Power saving mode was not on.
I couldn't replicate the crackles today, even before the videocard update, so this last one seems not to have an effect. I'll test some more anyway..
Thanks
Andy
