If you switch the virtual instrument to Memorymoon on that track, does the second problem happen?
No.

Hi,

Is there an octave setting in the troublesome plugins?

Hi,

I loaded both DX7 and Memorymoon, then played C4 on my keyboard and this is what I got:

DX7 and Memorymoon virtual keyboards
DX7 and Memorymoon virtual keyboards

I'm sorry if I'm being slow, but what am I missing? This seems correct to me.

Hi Greg,

Sorry,
for Memorymoon, it's looks ok if you consider octave -1.
But for the DX 7 you press C3, the piano roll display C4 !!

I tried with the Bitwig Studio demo which has the same kind of piano roll as Mixcraft. For example, if I press the note C3 it display C3 in the piano roll. Maybe you can try the trial of this DAW to see the difference ?

For information I use a 49 keys Midi keyboard. (Arturia Keylab 49 Essential)

Hi,

When I press C4, I get C4 in DX7, as shown in the screenshot. If I press C3, I get C3 in DX7. Maybe it's the preset you're using? I tried using the preset you have in your video, but I still get the same result. I'm using a 25 key Oxygen8.

Musical Typing works fine, too. Do you have the problem with Musical Typing and the DX7 plugin?

Hi,

Ok Greg I understand, if we consider that there is an octave which is not displayed in the Vsti keyboard, in this case the octave 1 on the left is not displayed.

Hi,

I still don't understand the problem. It seems to be working correctly with the DX7 plugin as far as I can tell, and with every other plugin that has its own keyboard.
