Toneboosters Plugins - Mixcraft 9 Trial

Post by Ianpb »

I've downloaded the Mixcraft 9 trial, but can't try the new Toneboosters plugins in Demo mode because they demand activation codes. Is this supposed to happen, or does it all work normally after purchase of MC9?

Hi,

That's interesting, I think they should just work. Have you installed Toneboosters plugins separately from Mixcraft? Maybe Mixcraft is picking up some plugins that you installed independently? Which plugins are having the problem, exactly?

Make sure you've got build 447 or higher.

Hi Greg.

Apologies; I meant to say that I can only use the plugins in demo mode.

Hi,

And I meant they shouldn't be in demo mode. Which specific ones are you having problems with? Did you install any Toneboosters plugins independently of Mixcraft?

Edited to add: no one else has reported this.

Hello

I am having the same issue with some of the ToneBooster plugins, and have checked that these came with Mixcraft 9.
For example: Reverb and also Equalizer are asking me for codes.

It seems that I remember inputting a registration for another TB plugin that came with Mixcraft 9 in the hours after I purchased MC9, but that was a few months ago and I do not remember where I found/ stored that info.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hello

Reverb is 4.1.2
Equalizer is 4.1.3

More background:
I only had 3 TB plugins while using MC8. When I upgraded to MC 9, the install provided me with 20+ additional TB plugins. Some did not need a code, but some do.

Thanks!

Hi,

Those are newer versions of the plugins, so that's why it's asking to register.

Mixcraft comes with v3.3.0. You could uninstall them and then install Mixcraft again, or contact Toneboosters to see if there's an upgrade option.
