2 Questions: Lanes and Monitor display

Post by TrevsAudio »

Too old to understand computers, so please forgive me!
So first, can I add additional child tracks to an existing parent? Case in point - I have EZDrummer with 7 child tracks and afterwards recorded two click tracks panned left and right. I'd like to add the clicks to the EZD child tracks so they are all part of 'percussion' - possible? [yes I know the EZD tracks are MIDI and the clicks are audio]
This is illustrated in the pic which is question 2. I managed to pour a pint of Germany's finest larger over my comp monitor (as you do when you reach a certain age). Well it sadly said 'enough is enough' and went to be with all the other dead equipment in the sky. So I bought a new monitor (32 inch TV actually) and the colors seem 'washed out'; especially the print in the menus and dropdowns. Can't seem to find any adjustment is 'display settings' on the comp. Any ideas please?

It sounds like you need to go into the telly menu and adjust contrast and colour from there, if the TV settings are weak then no amount of tweaking elsewhere will compensate. Example- if the colour is at zero you get a B&W tv. Try 90% contrast, 60% brightness and 50% colour.
