Video - Sound Unlinking from Video

Same project I've been working on. Have imported MP4 video clips with sound. I have cut scenes out and pasted elsewhere in the timeline. Initially the sound comes with it and is linked. AFTER I save and exit the app and come back in, the sound is unlinked. So, if I move the clip right or left of whatever, the sound doesn't come with it obviously. I have re-linked them 3-4 times but it doesn't stay linked after saving+closing the app. Thoughts? Thx

Hi,

In the last build of MC 9, select video and audio clip, right clic on the audio clip > Link > Link Selected Clips.
Is it working ? For me yes.

Oh yes, I've done that. I have to do that every time I Exit and re-open the project. It's not holding. That is, it's not permanent.

Absolutely. Now in fact, it appears that I'm losing some of the text linked with clips altogether at some point. Either while working on the project or after saving and reopening... the text clips are just disappearing... :-0 It's killing me having to redo them over and over... I'll never get done! LOL

I've never heard of that happening. The missing clips aren't hidden behind other clips?

It's the text clips that have gone missing. But no, there are very few in the project so nothing to hide behind. Oddly enough, a bit ago it seems to have stabilized. I will just be sure I'm making all the right selections. Well, another this is that is SEEMS like the font keeps changing...lol I set for one and come back later and it's different. Heck, I may just be being slopping. I will pay more attention.

Hi,

You're definitely saving the project? When you say text thingies are missing, do you mean the entire text clip, or text within the clip?

Are you using any video effects in this project, like the lightness effect, for example?
