I've been using Mixcraft 8 for years on a Windows 7 machine with no issues. Upgraded to a Windows 10 machine and I can't seem to get any of the sound setting options to work without glitching. Wave works the best but my system has a lot of juice so I'm not sure what the issue is. Specs below.....any advice is appreciated.

Re: Sound Settings
Make sure you've installed the latest drivers for your audio interface.
Also, a good place to start is to do basic tweaks as outlined in the link below (Especially important is to disable any unnecessary tasks in startup):

Hi,
What is your sound device? What do you have selected as the Playback Device setting?

Re: Sound Settings
Hi,
Try going back to WaveRT mode, and selecting Exclusive Mode. If that doesn't help, you can try turning up the latency while using Exclusive Mode.
It would help if you had a sound device that was designed for home recording, because the soundcards that are built into motherboards are often slow (high-latency) and may share chipsets with other functions in the motherboard. You could get a USB audio interface.

Re: Sound Settings
Hi,
Sorry, I missed that! Ignore my previous post and go to Audient's web page to download and install the latest Windows driver: https://audient.com/products/audio-inte ... downloads/
Once that's installed, go into Mixcraft's Sound Device preferences and select ASIO mode. If you still have the problem after that, go back into Mixcraft's Sound Device preferences and click Open Mixer, then try increasing the buffer settings.

Re: Sound Settings
Also, open Audient Mixer and make sure the settings there match Mixcraft.
