Re: Spitfire Audio dynamics automatically turn down
Ok I see the problem but not sure how to fix it. In mixcraft the modulation wheel isn't highlighted (this controls the dynamics in Spitfire. So though it works in Spitfire (kontakt) Mixcraft is turning it off as it's not highlighted which is strange. Also I don't have a breath controller and I'm not sure why they would be showing up.

Ok hope you can help here. So I've look at the host automation for dynamics (which are controlled by the mod wheel) at that is on #000 when I believe it should be on #001 ...

Hi,
If you move your modulation wheel as you record MIDI, that will be recorded as #CC1. You can also just manually add #CC 1 commands by selectiing modulation and left-clicking in the command area.

But the modulation wheel isn't showing up in Mixcraft Breath Controller is. Mixcraft thinks the modulation when on my midi is a breath Controller.

Hi,
Click on Mixcraft's Mix menu and select MIDI Control Surfaces, then click Reset All. Click OK and see if the problem is fixed.

Still not working. I'm giving up here. I've been battling this for about a month.

Hi,
The problem is that mod wheel data is not being recorded? Did you try adding some manually?

Hi,
Maybe the program sees the position of the mod wheel when you plug in the keyboard controller. If it is at its lowest setting I may be telling the software to go to that setting.

Re: Spitfire Audio dynamics automatically turn down
It wasn't easy but there was a conflict between Mixcraft, Spitfire and my Keyboard. So I had to change all the CC settings in Spitfire for what control did what and delete many. Then on my keboard I had to individually change the knobs to a level that matched mixcrafts defaults.
It's complicated.

Hello,
I have recently been having this problem as well which has been really frustrating. I tried to figure out how to fix it from what you said, but to no avail. I am just using GarageBand at the moment, and have been thinking of upgrading to Logic Pro X for a while now, however I don’t think this issue will be solved by upgrading, as I think it’s more an issue with spitfire and/or my midi keyboard. If you could perhaps explain how you solved the issue that would be a great help.
Thanks,
Owen
