Celemony Melodyne Essential Problem
Hello
I don't use Melodyne Essential very often, but for some strange reason every so often I need to reactivate it. Today I needed to activate it again, however this time it won't let me activate it and I got this message instead. But there is no alterative to click on. Please help me. (I blocked my computer number in image) Thank you
MX9 Pro, build 452, 64-bit.
EDIT: Note, I've never activated Melodyne on any other computer other than this laptop.

PS: I just sent Celemony Support an email also.
I don't understand why I need to reactivate Melodyne Essential every so often... I had to do it with MX8 Pro too.

- UPDATE -
Ok Celemony Support removed the old activations from "Melodyne 4 essential” serial number, so I was able to activate it again, so it now works again.
However, I don't know why I need to periodically keep reactivating Melodyne Essential 4 in Mixcraft 9.0 Pro... Is this a Acoustica or Celemony problem?

Re: Celemony Melodyne Essential Problem
Hi,
I haven't had to re-activate it.
There was a bug in an older version of Melodyne essentials, so make sure you've got version 4.2.4. Choose "Check For Updates" from Melodyne's help menu.
You're only allowed to activate it on two computers.

Re: Celemony Melodyne Essential Problem
Yes I’m using version 4.2.4.
I asked Celemony Support the same question and their reply was “We have seen a small amount of cases where Windows updates and resulting BIOS changes caused a new activation to be needed.”.
It happened a few times back when I was using MX8... But this was the first time with MX9, and I’ve only activated it on my laptop, no other computers.
BTW: I check for Windows updates daily.
Oh well, at least its working again.
Thank you Greg.

Re: Celemony Melodyne Essential Problem
Hi,
Celemony would be the experts on this. I don't think I've heard from anyone having to constantly re-activate.
