Video with Still Images
Hi,
I am putting together my first video, using still images. When I load some of the images in, Mixcraft initially put them on as horizontal images, rather than vertical. (I don't think they were horizontal; they are all images of people standingup). But regardless, it was easy to fix. I right-clicked on the images and rotated them on the track. All good, and the preview looked fine.
But the mp4 that is rendered shows the images sideways.
Can anyone help with this?

Hi,
Are the photos portrait or landscape orientation? I’ve done tons of videos and never had this problem, but I suspect the image resolution is at odds with the project resolution. What settings are you using to export to MP4?
Are they being cropped or resized as well or just rotated?

Also did you restart Mixcraft? Maybe the old photos are still in memory. You might need to re add the photos as well.

...and if all else fails, rotate them first, then bring them into Mixcraft.

Re: Video with Still Images
This really bothers me; I started over and used a completely different set of images. All current photos, right out of my cell phone.
The first image is 4032 x 3024; previews fine, rendered 180 off, upside down.
The second image is 3024 x 4032; previews fine, rendered left 90 degrees of how it shows on the preview.
The third image is 4032 x 3024 and renders and previews correctly.
I never changed any settings when the photos were being rendered. But I rendered the same images twice, closing the program in between, and I think I got two different suggested settings for the MP4. Once was 1440 x 1080, quality 80%, and 24 fps. The next time I did it the program suggested 1920 x 1080, quality 80%, 30 fps.
I simply added this in via the Video/Add Still Images, and then grabbed them and pulled to the right to size them for the number of bars that I needed.
It isn't really practical to rotate these before bringing them in. When I double click them, to view them before adding them, they look normal when viewed outside of Mixcraft. I don't know that Mixcraft thinks they need to be rotated until I take them in.

Hi,
That's frustrating. I wonder what the EXIF data shows for orientation on those images.

I don't see the word "orientation" in the data. Dimensions, width, height, horizontal resolution, vertical resolution. No indication of orientation. Is there some way to send you one jpeg file...first you add it to a video track, and see that it comes in upside down.
Then you rotate it, and try to render it, and see if it goes back upside down.
When I double click on the photo in windows, it opens correctly, and when I dragged it into another video maker, it appears in correct orientation.
