MX9 Build 460 Update Successful

Had issues before 458 with using help to update patch, 458 went great, 460 is back to not working. And yes, I've done everything recommended. Just weird that it didn't work, worked once now back to not working. Not too big of a deal, I can reinstall but atm the download is incredibly slow so I'll do it later.

Hmm, yeah wow it’s strange (and a bummer) that the updates are quick, easy, and successful for most users, but not everyone. Thank you for reporting this... I’m sure Acoustica Greg will want to know. Please be sure to report if the reinstall is successful.

Yeah, sorry. Bad joke.

But we're talking about two different issues here: in your case you can't get the update at all. What happens, exactly?

We had an unusual issue with the build 458 patch in which it would seem to install, but then Mixcraft wouldn't work. It was easily fixed with an install, or sometimes just downloading the patch again. Hopefully that problem is gone now.

So, we're back to the cases where a few people get "you're already up to date" when they aren't, or similar issues. It's really hard to say what's happening in these cases, because there are so many variables.

Yeah, it just says I'm up to date. Like I said, not a huge deal, just PITA to have to reinstall.

Yeah, unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be consistent known reasons yet.
FWIW: I also use Windows 10 Defender, but I haven’t added any MC to the whitelist.

Was your reinstall successful?

Actually just sent in a support request because the download was really slow, like kbs slow. Not on my end, tested with a few different downloads. Have given it a few hours but no change. Again, not a huge deal, hopefully helpful.

My guess is, because the update was just released the server might be overwhelmed.
