Thanks for demonstrating this workaround in detail and so concisely. Hopefully this will a native feature in the not too distant future (along with a chord track, assistant, pads and a MIDI input transformer ). In the meantime, for Mixcraft enthusiasts, this will definitely do the job.

You're both very welcome. The last 24 hours had been spent racking my brain trying to do the same thing using Rewire with moderate success (except when it backfired terribly), but finally arrived at the simpler solution shown in the video sometime early this morning. In fact, that's why my voice sounds different on this video because I did the voiceovers in my car with my Zoom H2 so as to not wake my wife up at 6 o'clock lol!

As for the videos, I'm with you in not liking to listen to too much sophistry. YT probably hates me for not making them more money, but there's more to life than money... there's Mixcraft!

Unfortunately this does not fix the issue Mixcraft has with with certain midi generating VSts "leaking" the original notes.
