Cannot delete last track

Post by mpoirier »

Just updated to version 460 64bit.

Sorry if I miss something obvious, but I can't delete the track when there is only one track.
I have to do new project to start fresh...
Is this by design ?
Thanks!

Hmm, no that’s not normal... You should be able to delete the track. I recommend contacting Acoustica Support. https://acoustica.kayako.com/conversation/new

EDIT: See Mark’s post below.

You can delete the audio in the track.

By design, you cannot delete all the tracks and have a project with zero tracks.
But either way, it takes but seconds to open a new blank project anyway.

If you want to delete the last track, just toggle on the master track and boom! Bob's your uncle.

Yeah, thats another workaround, as the master track can be the only track.

Still. Odd thing to get hung up on really. 8)

Thanks for the input.
So I guess you can't delete the last track.
The last track may contain fx, instruments, sends, etc. deleting just the audio/midi is not enough.
Like noted it's not a big deal to just create a new project.
Just wondering...

You could also add a new track, then remove the last old track.
