Hello guys!!
I want to do a little experiment and record me and a few friends playing live using many interfaces at the same, I don't know if that's even possible!
We will use a Boss Katana for the the guitar on the USB, an e-drum trackin MIDI on another USB port, a ZOOM Uac2 recording the Bass and the acoustic guitar in 2 separate tracks (also another USB port), a keyboard tracking MIDI on another USB, and finally a Behringer Xenyz tracking 2 mic's on 2 tracks as well on another USB...
So... 7 simultaneous sources/tracks through 5 USB's port on the same PC...
Is it even possible?
Do you guys have any tips on how to make this happen?
We will use live monitors, so no need to monitor through MixCraft8, how do you guys suggest the latency (bit rates and etc) to be set up?
Is my PC going to explode?
Is it going to sync properly all the tracks?
Do you have any tips to sync-proof the tracks, like hitting someting 3 or 4 times together to sync manually later if anything happens?
Thanks guys!
Multiple interfaces recording at the same time tips needed!

Got any ideas? How many USB inputs do you reckon I could use on the same PC? Maybe I could share it with one or two laptops...

You're going to want an I/O that has enough in/outputs, like an 8 channel, or you can get one with ADAT and expand that way. If you're recording in a band setting and everybody is trying to record and such at the same time, that's a mess.
