Hello,

Add Ripchord on a MIDI track first and then add a VSTi on the same MIDI track.

Hi,

Click Change Instrument, add Riphchord, then click Show Details and Select Synth to add the virtual instrument you want Ripchord to mess with.

Just FYI, you can "stack" any virtual instruments for new sounds, and you can split the keyboard so that part of the keyboard plays one virtual instrument and the rest of the keyboard plays another instrument.

You can also stack virtual instruments and have them only play at certain velocities, just change the Velocity setting on that screen. This means that if you have a velocity sensitive MIDI controller, the sound that plays would vary depending on how hard you hit the keys or pads (or electronic drum kit.

Hi Team.

I have added Ripchord as per the instruction below.
I added a virtual instrument, went into the details, added Ripchord first and added an additional instrument for playback.
However, when I play my midi keyboard to play the chords, the note I am hitting on the midi plays back with the chord progression.
I spent quite sometime trying to figure out a workaround but i am still unsuccessful.
What this does is, it makes the chord progression out of tune and records it with the chord. It sounds detuned.

Please assist with some advice around this.

Hello, same issue for me, but only when I route the output of ripchord on anoter keyboard, with mixcraft 9 and 10.
No issues if the output goes to a vst.

My setup: controller1: just a midi controller
keyboard1: yamaha midi keyboard with its own sound interface.
If I choose to route the output of ripchord into keyboard1, but play the note from controller1, what I hear from keyboard1 is not only the notes in output from ripchord, but also the midi note input from controller1

Hi,

Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio has the answer:
Pro Studio option: Use only this plug-in's output....

This is a Pro Studio-only feature.
