Re: Tempo Conversion
.... I think it's something to do with scale.....
the midi was recorded on a scale of 4/4 but
the tempo is too slow... so had to raise to
200, but need to sync it to another midi
with a tempo of 100.... get what am
saying?

Re: Tempo Conversion
What you are looking for is Time Stretch. I do not think this is possible with midi in Mixcraft. But I may be wrong.
I do not ever delve into this but one way you could try is to take your midi track at 200 BPM and mix it to a new audio track. This should change your midi and virtual instrument to a new audio track (wav file). Then mix that track down to a stem file and introduce that stem into a new project with a tempo of 100 BPM. In theory this should time stretch the new audio stem to the new project tempo.
Check out pages 28, 56, and 90. I'm not sure how good this will work but you could try.
