Thanks Guys,

Seen that it says "Focusrite USB ASIO [will be] the driver on your DAW’s Audio Setup", so I'll guess I'll go for that :)

I’m very happy with the 2nd generation Focusrite Scarlett 2i4.

Have now installed Scarlett 2i2 Third Generation 2-in, 2-out.

Am a bit worried about the latency.

Please advise - thanks :)

Acoustica Greg wrote: Mon Jul 06, 2020 8:25 am Check the download page for any interface you're considering to see whether it has its own audio driver, or whether it uses ASIO4All. As a rule of thumb, skip the ones that only offer ASIO4All.

You couldn't be more right. The most glitchy and least reliable driver I've ever dealt with. Never again.

ASIO4ALL is really used when there isn't an ASIO driver or solution for your audio hardware. Always use the drivers that come with the hardware first. If a piece of hardware supplies ASIO4ALL as its driver, to me would be a red flag not because ASIO4ALL isn't a good driver, but because the developers didn't create a driver specific to their hardware.
