How do I save midi mappings for a VSTi in Mixcraft 9? And how do I get the VSTi to load the mappings per default?

That function has been removed. We are considering putting it back in.

What was the idea? Doing MIDI mappings for each new project? What an inspiration killer! That means moving back to MC8 for me. I like Mixcraft, but this also means I´ll be looking into other DAW´s. How can I follow Acousticas plans on this? If you really itend putting it back in please update to autoload the last used MIDI mapping for each VSTi (setting default MIDI mappings).

We did a major upgrade on that feature, adding LFO and changing the user interface, and that the option to save VSTI MIDI mapping slipped through the cracks.
I'm pretty sure they are talking about Mixcraft 8 in that old post, since Mixcraft 9 didn't come out until the beginning of the next year.
A few people have noticed the missing option in Mixcraft 9, and I've provided their feedback to the software developers, just as I'm doing with yours.

Count my vote for a needed update to fix this. It's very common to use these controllers now and to have to tweak it every time you go back to it is frustrating!
