Hi folks,
Was wondering if I’m overlooking something in Mixcraft 9 or if it’s just not there....
In previous versions, I was able to adjust the level of the input. When you armed a track, you could adjust the input level on the meter itself (on the left vertical track stack).
Can’t seem to do this now. Has this moved?
Can anyone please advise?

Hi,
Check your audio settings. When in ASIO, your interface controller the volume, so the input volume feature is not available. Check the manual for details.

Depends on the audio hardware/driver/settings you are using.
Generally for example, an asio driver relies on the gain control of your audio device, not the daw.

Gotcha. I am using asio for the first time on a new system. So that explains it. I adjusted the gain on the mic device itself and it works like a charm.Mark Bliss wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 6:43 pm Depends on the audio hardware/driver/settings you are using.

Re: Recording level...am I missing something?
Must say I agree with OP and it's a request I sent in long time ago.
Ideally, I need to keep my recording input levels between -18 and -12db. There's no way to check on this - even the master track does not show level when in record mode.
So I have to record a short 'guessed' level, then stop, disarm and playback so I can see the actual level.
An easy fix surely Mixcraft?
