Delay Loading Melodyne?
Mixcraft 9 Pro. Windows 10. Can I delay loading melodyne when I boot up? And if yes, how? I rarely use it and would rather pop open Mixcraft a few seconds faster.

Melodyne loads in just under 7 seconds for me.
But yeah, you could disable it in plug in management so it is ignored if you wish.

Hi,
It also might not be Melodyne that's the culprit, since other things are loading while it is displayed on the screen (like ReWire).
But disabling it in File Menu > Manage Plugin-Ins would be a good test.

I tried that Greg - I was able to disable (I like that!) the vst 3 version of Melodyne. But on reopening MX, Melodyne was still available to use.

Ha! I guess I should have tested it first. Disabling it there just disables the plugin, not the ARA (integrated) Melodyne.
Well, I suppose anyone who doesn't want Melodyne can just uninstall it then (there are two items in the Windows Apps settings to uninstall).

Re: Delay Loading Melodyne?
There's no need to uninstall Melodyne - just run the installer, choose modify and deselect everything. It won't appear in Mixcraft but the program will still be installed. When you do need Melodyne just run the installer again, choose modify and select VST3. Easy as that...
