Latency with MC9 and Tascam US16x08

I have a Tascam US16x08 interface running through Mixcraft 9 to record my drums. Everything goes fine until I hit the record button, then there is a delay between the hit and what I hear through the headphone monitors. Best guess is the delay is 125-250 milliseconds. I have tried everything I can come up with to no avail. Suggestions?

Make sure you've downloaded/installed the latest drivers for your interface from Tascam. After the install, reboot your system.

I do have the latest driver for the interface. Hopefully following the Mixcraft setup will solve the problem. If not, I'll be back.

I sold it a long time ago, same problem as you.
