I am using Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio, Windows 10 and Melodyne 5. I have Dell i5 gamer laptop with 8GB RAM, CPU 2.30 GHz
All my tracks were audio, vocals recorded by me in Mixcraft, except for one instrumental track that I had imported from another person online. When I mixed down the stems or Mixed to one .wav file. The tempos were off and different for every track and vocals were all off key. There were about 12 tracks.
I suspect it could have been caused by
1) Beatmatch
2) Tempo and key settings for project vs. track(s)
3) new Melodyne install
4) Windows ndu.sys driver RAM/CPU usage or
5) Large files 48k khz 32 bit floating point converted to 44.1k 24 bit.
I had already removed most of my plugins and shutoff all internet, virus scanner, Win updates, background apps/programs.
How do I test this?
What are the proper settings for tempo and key for each type of track? This has always confused me.
Are there any more in depth tutorials on this as it seems to be commonly misunderstood.
Thanks,
Cheryl
