Melodyne 5.1

Hi all, as a licensee of MixCraft Pro Studio 9, I received an email from Celemony that offers a free upgrade to Melodyne 5.1. It doesn't mention 'Essentials' but I'd assume it is, as that is what we have with PS9. Wondering if anyone's done the upgrade, and if the install went well, and seems to be functioning well within MixCraft. Greg, if you're monitoring, I'm on Build 664. Thanks all!

Saw some posts on another Mixcraft blog site that says the upgrade crashes Mixcraft. Would hold off on upgrade!

Yeah, I'd suggest waiting until some bugs are worked out.

Hi,

Celemony released an update that crashes Mixcraft 8 and 9. We're got a fix for this in Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio with beta version 468. We're testing the beta version as quickly as possible so we can release it. In the meantime, you can uninstall Melodyne 5.1 and install a previous version, or contact Acoustica support and we'll give you the link to the beta version.

Mixcraft 8 users should revert to an earlier version of Melodyne. You can contact Celemony for help with downgrading: https://services.celemony.com/cgi-bin/W ... anguage=en

If any Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio users want to upgrade to Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio, that's an option, too: https://acoustica.com/mixcraft/upgrades

We're not going to be updating Mixcraft 8, but we're encouraging Celemony to update Melodyne 5.1 to fix this problem. However, that probably won't happen quickly.

OK, I installed Melodyne 5.1, got the fatal crash when I booted up Mixcraft 9 Pro repeatedly, took the link to Acoustica site where I see I need to upgrade to Beta release 468. OK, I download it, go back to the website and get my license code and the installer tells me I have a license code for Pro version. Duh??? Yeah I know that -- that's what I purchased and that's what all the links tell me I'm downloading with release 468. WTF??? Can someone tell me what's going on?

You downloaded Mixcraft 9 Recording Studio, but you need to download Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio. The update is no longer in beta. I'll send you your Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio registration email, which has the download link. You can also log into your account at Acoustica.com at any time to download it.
