Mixer not filling monitor
Is there a setting to get the undocked mixer to fill the entire screen of a third monitor? Its a 34" ultrawide monitor. 3440x1440
Re: Mixer not filling monitor
Noticing the issue. I've got a 3 monitor setup.
Bottom 2 are 1920-1080 monitors set at 100% size scale
The top monitor is a 3440x1440 that I set the scale to 125% to increase the size of the lettering a little.
The mixer when maximized does not fill the entire screen and appears to be at the same 100% sizing. There is about a 2.5" at the bottom and a 4 wide strip of desktop on the side showing. If I decrease the scaling in windows back to the 100% the mixer will fill the entire screen when maximized. However the knobs and lettering is fairly small.
Other windows like chrome or MS edge look fine at the 125% increase and fill the entire screen. And you can tell they are just slightly larger than the 100% scale.
However, as I mentioned, when I drag the mixer to the upper monitor you can see the size of the window to the default 100% even though its set at 125%. Then when you maximize the window, it doesn't fill the screen.

Re: Mixer not filling monitor
Good news. I can get the mixer to fully expand even with the setting of the top monitor at 125% scale. However, the mixer itself will not increase in size following the monitors scale.
Any ideas?

Hi,
Yeah, it doesn't work ideally if you have different resolutions on multiple monitors. You can play around with the option in Display preferences for this. Restart Mixcraft after you change the option.

So is it something that would have to be addressed in Mixcraft, eventually?Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 10:39 am Hi,

Yup. Probably not going to be changed in Mixcraft 9.

Ok. That's kind of good news...I mean at least I can stop looking for the issue with my graphics card or Windows10. Hopefully it will get resolved in MC10! I literally just upgraded my "mixing console" monitor and graphics card to use with Mixcraft.Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 3:55 pm Yup. Probably not going to be changed in Mixcraft 9.
Thanks for the info Greg

Hi,
Did changing the setting in Display preferences have any effect?

No. It did not. Chrome looks fine or Microsoft Edge or Windows Explorer is good. In fact you can see it(Explorer) change to the 125% after you drag it to the higher res monitor.Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 4:54 pm Hi,

Re: Mixer not filling monitor
Hi,
Okay, thanks for trying.
Upcoming versions of Mixcraft should handle hi res monitors better.

Re: Mixer not filling monitor
For now...I have a workaround. I decreased the resolution in NVidia graphics card from the 3440x1440 to 2560x1080. Seems to play nice with the other monitors and the size looks more appropriate. So for now, this is what I will work with. The good thing is I can leave the scaling at 100% instead of the 125%.Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 4:54 pm Hi,
