Dual display monitors

Post by Jimolson »

I want to order another monitor that matches my current one.
LG 32" Class FHD IPS FreeSync Monitor From Costco.
This only has a HDMI input & my Dell XPS 8930 only has one HDMI output. The computer does have another display output port. Does anyone know how to proceed or what kind of adapter I need?
Thanks for everything

Just to be clear, your monitor has one unused HDMI input (TWO HDMI inputs total), correct?

You could add a PCIe graphics card with an HDMI output to the Dell. (Or add a card with two HDMI outs and use those ports exclusively).

Alternatively, just buy a different model monitor, with a DisplayPort input.
