Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio and Kontakt 6 Sound Difference

Is it normal to have a little sound difference between Kontakt 6 and Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio?
I am using a EWI, the first sound segment is with Kontakt 6 only. The second segment is with Kontakt 6 playing it through Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio.
I do not have any effects turned on.

There shouldn't be a sound difference between the two.

The obvious question is, are you sure you have MC Pro at default settings with no effects applied?

No effects,
Since I'm using a EWI breath instrument, do I need to change/set or do anything else?

No, just one instrument in Kontakt 6. Then I tag that instrument in Mixcraft.
The sound difference is not huge, was just wondering why there was a little difference.
I didn't know if I needed to do anything in Mixcraft because I am playing a wind instrument.

I know next to nothing about wind controllers, so can't help on the settings.

Can you try a different controller, like a keyboard (piano-type or QWERTY) and see if it still sounds different?

OK, tried the keyboard on both the Kontakt and Mixcraft.
Still a little sound difference between the two.
I can live with it, was just wondering why.
