VocAlign in Mixcraft

After seeing a reference here in the forum, I bought VocAlign because I'm tired of mini-edits on vocals. But, on further reading, it doesn't seem to work in Mixcraft 9. Has anybody gotten it to work? If so, I would really appreciate a step-by-step guide. I have Studio One, too, and this may finally force a (reluctant) move away. It's ARA enabled. Isn't Mixcraft?

Bought Vocalign on sale and gutted to discover it just crashes Mixcraft every time. Submitted a ticket to Synchro Arts!

Hi,

VocAlign doesn't work in Mixcraft 9. It will work in Mixcraft 10, which we hope to release later next year.

If they made a VST2 version of VocAlign, that would work in Mixcraft 9, but they don't.

VocAlign works just fine in Mixcraft 10, but there's no ARA support for it. We just have ARA for Melodyne.

Are there any plans in the future to implement ARA support for it?

Mixcraft has a very cool and unique way of recording and it'd make aligning audio takes so much faster workflow wise.

We got Melodyne ARA which is really great, but it's not complete without Vocalign ARA.

There is also the option to make a native built in tool like Cubase has which is called "Audio Alignment" have you heard of it?

It's essentially the same idea as Vocalign but it's built natively into the daw.

Mixcraft has loads of potential, I just wish Mixcraft 10 focused more on the audio workflow features.
