Favorites with VST’s is a quick and easy timesaver.
Is that available for effects plug-ins?
If not, it would be an awesome upgrade feature in the next release.

You can save effects chains as presets. While there doesn't seem to be a way to have an effects layout imported for all of the tracks at once without removing any existing recording, you can save your preset chains and call them back at any time on any track in any project. If you click the little fx button on a track you'll see two drop downs:
1. At the top for selecting an effects chain
2. A dropdown for adding individual effects one at a time.
If you add and tweak a bunch of effects, in the Track Effect List window you can click on the little disk (save) icon to save your new effects chain preset.

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion! Up at the top of the FX list is a list of recently used effects you can select from.
Otherwise, you can go into File Menu > Manage Plug-Ins to add your favorite effects to a collection. (Page 327 of the help manual).

This might also be a case for templates. I use one that has customized fx already loaded for drums, bass, acoustic, electric and vocals. It also has fx presets for a mono or stereo track of any variety. Mostly just EQ and compressor for all of the above. I also keep send tracks, one with reverb and one with delay. And lastly, EQ & compression on the master. All of this saves a tremendous amount of time and any tweaking is still in the offing.
