Hi
Mixcraft 9 comes with AAS Journey, and has its preset include in mixcraft, like this image:
I found searching & favorites (above picture) is very useful
I bought another soundpack from AAS, for example: transmutation. How to make that soundpack's preset also included in mixcraft preset selector ?
Thank you

Re: AAS presets inside mixcraft 9
i found something in %appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\FX
169B6782D7844F0984265F466D850F91.preset
Is this part of magic that makes Journeys preset recognizable by mixcraft ?
Any documentation for this ?
Can we do this to other AAS soundpack too ?

Re: AAS presets inside mixcraft 9
Another finding, apparently (maybe) this file holds the Journeys VST preset data:
%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\FX\305A4D33-0000-0000-0000-000000000000.presets
%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\FX\305A4D33-0000-0000-0000-000000000000.presets

Re: AAS presets inside mixcraft 9
Hi
I've noticed that Mixcraft will acknowledge the presets of certain plugins but not others, and this seems to boil down to disagreements as to the proper VST implementation between the plugin developer and Acoustica. A lot of times the worst free plugins imaginable will get recognized but your $200 synth won't.
By the way, you not only have Journeys, but you'll see you have Entangled Species as well (it's in the Journeys VST).

Re: AAS presets inside mixcraft 9
Sorry I can't help, but despite the lack of editing ability of presets I'm a big fan of both of these included AAS sets.

Thank you -- this helped me two years later.bigaquarium wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 1:56 am

I have just installed AAS Player plus their free Swatches presets, and when I opened AAS Player it seemed I had lost Entangled Species (I could only see Journeys and Swatches).
But your post gave me the clue to open the Journeys instrument instead, and there I could see both Journeys and Entangled Species.
