Help with Mixcraft 9 and BlueArp

Post by MrJ »

Hi,

I posted a question about BlueArp on their forums and someone on there thought that it might be an issue with Mixcraft 9 instead. I have literally no idea, so I thought I'd repost it here. Is there anyone who can possibly help me please?

---------------

It seems that no matter what I select, the chord is always played. I've even set the first note to be muted and it still plays.

I've captured my desktop which I thought might help - can anyone see what I'm doing wrong??!?

Thanks in advance.

In case it is useful, I've also c&p'd the reply I got on the BlueArp forum:
I'm not familiar at all with Mixcraft, but apparently the banjo track is getting two Midi inputs, 1st from the piano roll / chord track? (really not sure what these are called), and 2nd is from BlueARP itself.

You will need to make that banjo track to receive Midi input coming from BlueARP output only. If Mixcraft allows routing internal Midi in/outs, I guess this can be done :)

Hi,

That's just the way it works in Mixcraft right now. I've got a problem report filed on this issue, and I updated it with your comments.

I've been trying the same thing... and I'd just add the observation that BlueArp seems to work when you press-and-hold a key in the Mixcraft Piano Roll... but if you press Play (in Mixcraft), whether it's just playing a clip OR it's playing a clip in Loop Mode, BlueArp isn't being triggered.

I'm running things under a different environment but the (mis-)behaviour is the same -- Windows 8.1 32-bit... Mixcraft 7.7 b316... BlueArp v2.3.7.

HI,

If you like, you can submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach a sample project that illustrates the problem.
