Hello,
I had a demo service produce a demo for a song a few years ago and I had rewritten it and had the same service do another demo. I imported the demo into Mixcraft and found parts from the original demo I had done that I liked better, and edited them into toe new demo. The sound level is slightly off but yet noticeable. I tried to normalize the track but it just made it louder. Is there a way that I can edit the track to make the sound level the same or a way that I can adjust the sound levels on the parts I took from the old demo and brought them into the new one?
Thanks for your help.
How can I adjust sound levels when importing from another source?

Your description is far from clear, but-
Yes, normalization applies to the entire track, so if I am understanding what your intention is.... That is irrelevant.
I am guessing you want to adjust clips or portions that you have edited together?
I think what you want is volume automation.
