Is variable speed available one way or another, similar to Protools?
Even if it’s a plug in possibility
Cool feature even if does the Darth Vader or Chipmunks thing.

I have no idea about "similar to Protools" but yes. You can change speed. Time adjustments with and without pitch shift. Also MIDI tempo changes. You can do automated time changes on the Master bus too.
