Mixcraft 8.1 - Sudden Default Project Folder issue

Hiya.

We have been using Micraft 8.1 for quite some time "without issue" but recently my the pupils at School cannot press the Record button without error. Nothing at all has changed in terms of the UNC path I've always used for the Project Folders location. Copying this section out and pasting into Explorer for example works fine.

I'm going to Hazard a guess at a recent MS update..

A "Fix" is to change the Project Folders location using a drive mapping to the same location ans restart Mixcraft.

Anyhow, I have to find a way to resolve this programatically as there is way too many students to perform this manually. Is there a Registry key perhaps I can modify or another method to apply a drive mapping based on username?
