1) Press "R" to start recording
2) touch any control in your plugin, an automation lane will be created
3) press "R" again to stop
4) Do it as many times as needed until you have all your desired parameters
This is much quicker than searching individual parameters from a list:

There's also the possibility of selecting the Record All option:
