Popping sound when creating audio loop

Im having an issue creating loops. Seems that when i try to loop my bass guitar (or any audio for that matter) i get a popping sound at the end of the loop. It only happens with recorded audio but not with virtual instruments. Anyone having this issue? Using Mixcraft 8

zoom in on the end of the loop, make sure the waveform touches 0db (zero-crossing) at the very end, if not, trim it a tiny bit.
