Mixcraft 9 v 5

I have Mixcraft 9 and it is good especially for new music.

However, I also make "mix tapes" (not dj sets, just for the car) and I would prefer to use Mixcraft 5 for that as I found it to be easier and quicker especially when I only need to use 2 tracks.

I still have the original Mixcraft 5 install file and the password/key but when I try to install it, it complains that it“cannot communicate to the network server, error 9”

How to I get Mixcraft 5 going again?

NB It was previously installed on a Windows 7, 32 bit machine and I now have Windows 10, 64-bit
