Hi,

Do they have a demo version? If so, try it before you buy it.

All SampleModeling and AudioModelling VIs work well in Mixcraft. AudioModeling’s SWAM saxophones are really, really, really good!
Thanks & God Bless,

I thought Embertone's Sensual Sax was better, tbh. Might want to give a look.

And for a very limited and basic sax but free and IMO a good sound, DVS's sax is worth trying.

Two more to check are 8Dio's Studio Sax and "Fire" Sax. They're in the last leg of a 50% off sale right now FYI, you can get them for $24 each (I did)... :)

Which of these great softwares would work in Mixcraft as VSTs, or do you need 3rd parties like Kontact please?

Thanks

I should have mentioned...8Dio stuff needs the pay version of Kontakt, as does Embertone's Sensual Sax. DVS does not. Not sure about SWAM.

Have Kontakt but gave up on it, I found it a lumbering software, difficult to use. Maybe that's just me.

SWAM looks / sounds good.

DVS is a huge improvement on the default sounds I had for sax, alto in mid register. Above that it starts to lose that sax feel a bit.

But a step forwards! :)

Thanks
