I am running Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio, build 469, on Windows 10. Recently, I downloaded Amp Farm 4.0 from line6.com. I own a license for Amp Farm and have it configured in my iLok, which is plugged into a USB port on my PC when I perform the following.
The first time I tried launching Mixcraft, it sat at "Initializing AmpFarm" for a long, long time. I rebooted the PC and tried again. Upon launching Mixcraft the second time, I was presented with this dialog box:
I went to File, Manage Plug-ins, "<Unable To Load> (1)", clicked the check-box beside AmpFarm.vst3, OK, then restarted Mixcraft. I got the same hung condition:
How can I overcome this and get Amp Farm running within Mixcraft?
Thanks.

Hi,
Get it to happen again, then quit Mixcraft and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file.
To find the mixcraft-log file, highlight the following line and press Ctrl+C to copy it:
Press the Windows Key+R to pop up the Run box in Windows. Click in the Run box and press Ctrl+V to paste in the line from above. Finally, click OK to go to the location of the mixcraft-log.txt file. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.

I had a Line6 UX2 some years back, I remember that it had to be plugged in for the vst to work. You have the ilok so that could be a whole other ball of wax. I also remember having to do an install of the software, it wasn't just a simple .dll file.

Try this (if you haven't already):
Reboot your system. Download the file again. Install it.
Check your iLok to make sure all your plugins are reporting normally.
Try using the amp farm plugin.

Hi,
Wow, yeah. The log file doesn't get far. Try Jon's suggestion above.
You can also try installing just the VST2 version of the plugin and not the VST3 plugin. (Uninstall it Windows Apps settings first).
